Watermelon and Cream Power Protein Shake

Try a healthier twist on the typical fruit & cream shake that you get at your local fast-food drive through, with the addition of fresh watermelon, mint, and whey protein powder. This delicious meal replacement shake is topped with reduced fat cool whip, great as a post workout snack or even breakfast shake, on the run.

Recipe

  1. Place all ingredients into your blender (minus the cool whip topping).

  2. Pulsate, until blended.

  3. Taste and adjust natural sweetness as you desire, by adding a tsp of natural honey.

  4. Pulsate once again, until combined.

  5. Pour into glass, topping with a dollop of cool whip. Enjoy!

  • 4 ounces of fresh seedless watermelon chunks

  • 1 serving of flavorless whey protein powder

  • 1/2c of unsweetened almond milk

  • 2 fresh mint leaves

  • 5 ice cubes

  • Thawed reduced fat Cool Whip topping

  • optional: tsp of natural honey
