Brisket Sandwich

Smoked tender juicy brisket sandwich made on the Blackstone

Recipe

  1. Chop up into small pieces the bell pepper, jalapeño, onion, and brisket

  2. Cook the onions, bell pepper, and jalapeño on one side of the Blackstone and season with salt and pepper

  3. Cook the brisket on the other side and season with salt and pepper

  4. Mix it all together

  5. Put the sub rolls on the Blackstone to heat up and flip on both sides

  6. Add cheese to the meat and veggie mixture and mix it up

  7. Open the sub roll and add 2 slices of provolone cheese

  8. Line the mixture in rows approximately the size of the sub rolls and set the rolls with the provolone cheese on top of the meat and let it sit for a few seconds

  9. Now using a large spatula scoop the bottom of the mixture and flip the roll over picking it up and putting it on a plate

  10. Serve and enjoy

Brisket
  • Cooked brisket preferably from the point- not the flat (for juiciest meat)

  • Salt and pepper

  • 1 Bell pepper

  • 2 Jalapeños

  • 1 Large onion

  • Colby Jack Cheese

  • Provolone cheese

  • Sub rolls
