Apple Cobbler Waffle Bowl a la Mode
Indulge in the delightful taste of a homemade apple cobbler served in a cinnamon sugar waffle bowl. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 13x9 inch pan lightly with cooking spray.
Stir together brown sugar, water, cornstarch, lemon juice, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt together in a saucepan. Stir in apples. Cook over medium heat for 3-5 minutes, stirring.
Pour mixture into prepared pan.
In a large bowl mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in the milk and melted butter, just until combined.
Pour the mixture over the apples in the pan. Sprinkle lightly with cinnamon.
Bake for about 38-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the topping comes out clean.
Allow to cool for at least 15 minutes before serving.
Take a ice-cream waffle bowl and drizzle the sides lightly with honey. Sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon on the waffle bowl, to adhere to the honey.
Place a portion of the apple cobbler in the waffle bowl and top with your favorite vanilla ice-cream!

1/3 cup brown sugar , packed

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon salt

3/4 cup milk
5 Tablespoons butter (melted
